How tides work
A simple slider allows you to speed up and slow down time. The three synchronised views allow you too see the correlation between the position of the moon and the sun, the height of the tide and the phase of the moon. This would be hard to achieve with static diagrams or text. Circuit Trainer
This applications allows allows you to create dc circuits and adjust the properties of the components in the circuit. Using the multi-meter you can see how can measure the current, voltage and resistance of all or parts of the circuit. Circuits can be saved to files. The entire application is less than 200k and is delivered over an extranet. Well designed interactive learning content makes learning interesting and enjoyable. A true understanding of a topic often comes through experimentation and experience, interactive elearning content allows the learner to do that. They can discover and ratify for themselves what you are showing them.
I try to create interactive learning content that helps students experiment and discover. The combination of skills I have built up in illustration, animation, 3d modeling, 3d animation, digital video and perhaps most importantly - programming allow to me create content that levers all of the strengths of computer based training.
Nearly all the content I create can be distributed on CDROM, via internet or your intranet without modification.
